My Course will not install on Windows 7 Windows 7 has caused a problem with the setup program on The Complete Course Version 4 DVD. Click here to download a replacement setup program which will install The Complete Course from your DVD. Save the zip file to your hard drive then extract the setup.exe and run.All other applications on the DVD will install normally. Previous versions of The Complete Course were written pre-Vista and will not install on Windows 7. Individual programs can be copied from the CDs and will run but cannot be normally installed.
How do I take the exams to get a certificate? There are exams and exercises for Day Skipper and Yachtmaster on the CD. To get a certificate you must do a complete shorebased course however the RYA program does not require a certificate to do a practical course. It requires a certificate OR equivalent knowledge which comes from the CD.
Will The Complete Course Series run on Apple MAC, TV CD player! It will run only on a PC running Windows XP or later. It will run on an Apple if there is a Windows emulator program such as Winsoft but they are expensive. It will not run on a TV DVD player as it is designed for Personal Computers.

Meridian SeaTrak, Neptune, or exercises are not available when I click on them Have you installed them and are they in the default locations? The Complete Course expects to see them in the C:\ drive and in set locations in Program Files. If they have been installed in different locations by the user, the user must locate them manually when requested. (Only one customer has not installed in the expected location and one did not install them out of 3000). Vista users may experience problems with Meridian Sea Trak, and Neptune programs in Version 3. These programs include data files which Vista does not allow in Program Files. Install these programs in another location and open manually when required. We suggest you buy the upgrade to Version 5.0 for £20.00
Pages have scroll bars (Versions 2 and 3) and I cannot see the icons on the bottom of the screen The font size is probably selected to Large Size. Change to small size by right clicking on the desk top, select properties then Advanced. Select small fonts and click OK. Check that your screen resolution is set to greater than 800 x 600 pixels.
How do I get to a page I want? It takes a long time to click on Next Click on the Contents Icon at the bottom of each screen and select the appropriate page. Use the Bookmark function which is explained in the introduction on the course. This allows the user to mark a page and go straight to it. Click on the Index icon at the bottom of the screen to search for a specific word in a book.

The Complete Course Version 5 and Windows 98/ME Version 5 has an upgraded installer which works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. However, it may not always work on previous versions of Windows. The splash screen will open correctly on autorun but nothing happens when the Install button is clicked. Then to install
